Employment Law

The Team

The department is run by John Dalby, who has many years' experience in Employment Law.

Why Choose Us?

Employment Law is a constantly changing area which every business should view as vitally important. No area of law has seen so much change in recent years and the pace of such change is likely to quicken. We act for employers and employees in relation to both non-contentious and contentious employment issues.

Our regular newsletter, Employment Matters, covers all the latest developments in employment law. If you would like to be included on our mailing list, please contact us.

We urge all employers to review their employment documentation to ensure it is current. If we can help in any way, please contact us.

We deal with:

  • Advice to employees on unfair, wrongful or constructive dismissal, redundancy entitlements and other contractual issues
  • Advice to employers in relation to Contracts of Employment, collective and individual redundancies and dismissals, TUPE, sickness and other absences, Working Time Regulations, maternity and parental leave rights
  • Advice on the termination of senior employees' contracts
  • Advice on Compromise Agreements (employers and employees)
  • Employment Tribunal representation
  • Consultancy Agreements
