| Professional history: | After obtaining a degree in French and German at Oxford, Wayne trained as a lawyer with Denton Hall & Burgin in Gray's Inn. After qualifying, he spent 2 years with the firm as an assistant solicitor before taking up a post with Veale Benson (now Veale Wasbrough) in Bristol. Wayne headed the firm's commercial property department for several years and was also partner i/c quality chairing the group, which secured Investor In People status for the firm. He retired from Veale Wasbrough in 2004 and joined the Clifton office of Wadge Rapps & Hunt. |
| Out of work interests: | Wayne loves all sports, except football! In his time he has played a lot of rugby, cricket, golf and real tennis. He is also a keen fly fisherman, walker and gardener when time allows. Wayne has been involved with St Johns Ambulance for many years and is currently County President. He is also very interested in education and has served as a governor of several private schools including Clifton College and Redland High School. |
